The club caters for both original and modified cars in varying condition, not all cars are pristine as each owner has different ideals, tastes and use for their cars, members vehicles range from everyday hacks to award winning showpieces. |
130 Members & Growing. The CHCC is recognized as one of the major car clubs in the Northern Territory due to its very pro-active activities and presence in the community. Membership is currently about 130 members. We are a very informal group with a committee that meets monthly. All members invited to attend those meetings. We have monthly social events for members to attend ranging from Car Runs, the Annual City to Souvlaki Greek feast, foreshore brunch, the annual cricket match with MVEC and lots more. | The AGM’s is always a very well supported event with a free lunch thrown in. For us, time has shown that being relaxed and social is a good way to run a club. While its members are mainly from Darwin, Palmerston and the rural areas, we also have members from all over the Northern Territory. The club produces regular newsletters that detail club activities and stories and members are invited to share their advice on all technical matters for the advantage of others. |
